Humanistic, is always talk about human and everything that have relation with it. Everything itself may be talk about the similarity or difference between each human. There are so many humans being in this world who live in every single place in the world. Nowadays, the total of human population in this world is already more than 3 billions. They are divided in many categories such as religion, country, ethnic, language, skin color, hair colors, etc. So the similarities and difference come from the categories itself. All of people in this world must have differences between one to another. We can see it from the physical, there are humans with big or small body, blonde or black hairs, white or black skin, tall or short, old or young, etc. also we can see that we are different in our quarter which influence our languages, religions, ethnics, and cultures. Although we are born from different quarter we still have similarities. For example a Javanese man who is a muslim also is same with an Arabic man who is a muslim too or a Philippines woman who speak in Spanish also same with Spain woman who speaks in Spanish too. Even we were born from the same great grandparents, Adam and Eve and although many religions does exist in this world we are actually give the respectful greeting to the same one God who had created all of us. I’m sure that everyone has already knows about this, but sometimes we still can find that there are some people who can’t accept those similarities. Some of them think that they are better than the others. For examples since many years ago many strong countries colonize the others weak countries to take a lot of benefits from them. Yes, take the benefits which mean that although they confess that they are better or even the best than the others, they still need the others to fulfill their needed. So why we still try to intimidate others when we still need them to help us. That’s why we need to learn to be a humble person to accept this difference.
I think I can learn how to understand the beautiful of differences in Humanistic Studies I. This humanistic lesson will be focus on multicultural maybe can give me more information about cultures that exist in this world and the problems that have ever happened that related to multicultural issues. According to me the differences is beautiful because it will be so boring if everything look the same. The differences also can make us realize that we are so special because we have our own identity that different with others. In multicultural also the differences is a prove that we as a human have the greatest thought among the others creatures because we can create so many languages, dances, traditional foods, traditional clothes and many other things that included in culture. So we have to respect the differences among other cultures sincerely.
